Kiara Advani reveals Sidharth Malhotra didn’t want to share their wedding video; says ‘he’s a bit too private’

When two popular celebrities, who have been linked time and again, finally share the news of their wedding on social media, it feels like a victory for fans. May it be Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, or Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Well, one recent celebrity wedding that filled our hearts with love was Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s royal ceremony in Jaisalmer. Their haldi, sangeet and wedding pics were delightful. But what left us wanting more was the wedding video which looked like it was straight out of a fairytale.

But did you know dulhe raja Sidharth didn’t want to share this adorable clip on the internet? In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Kiara revealed, “He didn’t want us to post some of the wedding stuff we posted. That video! Oh my God that video that we posted. There was a lot of debate about it. Sid is a very private person. He's a bit too private, you know.” Kiara shared that the wedding filmer had put the video together for the newlyweds right after they tied the knot, in case they wanted to use it. The couple were initially hesitant and wanted to keep it personal. But designer Manish Malhotra encouraged them to share the love.

She went on to add, “So we did post that. But he (Sidharth) was just like 'I don't want to post any videos, I don't want to post anything' and I said okay fair enough, it is a private.. even I don't want to go into too many pictures and all of that. So we do keep our private life, our personal life as private as we can.” Kiara explained that they both have worked hard to reach where they are today, which is why they want their professional lives to have its own identity.

Well, Sidharth and Kiara are fabulous actors who have proven their versatility time and again. And we sincerely respect their privacy. But we sure are grateful to Manish Malhotra that he convinced the couple to share their heartwarming wedding video!
