Kavin 08: THESE Tamil veteran stars join the cast of Kavin and Nayanthara’s next

As reported earlier, Dada star Kavin and Lady Superstar Nayanthara are all set to star in an upcoming romantic drama that is tentatively titled Kavin 08. Directed by debutant Vishnu Edavan, who has previously assisted director Lokesh Kanagaraj, the makers of the film have begun the shoot, with the film currently in the production stage. Although the makers have not made any official announcement, the latest updates reveal that new cast members have joined the filming schedule.

According to the latest updates, veteran Tamil actors Prabhu, Bhagyaraj, Radikaa Sarathkumar, and Poornima Bhagyaraj have been roped in to play pivotal roles in the film. Reports indicate that the actors have joined the Chennai shooting schedule and are currently filming their parts.

Touted to be a romantic drama, more details about the film will be disclosed soon.

Nayanthara shares still with Kavin from Kavin 08

Earlier, actress Nayanthara took to her social media pages to share a surprise still from her upcoming movie with Kavin. The actress’ picture shows her with Kavin as love interests in the upcoming film, confirming earlier speculations about the two Tamil actors teaming up for the new project.

Director Vishnu Edavan also reposted the photo and wrote, “Nandri Arohara. For my Nayanthara maam and My Kavin Anna. The journey begins today. Romba Romba Nandri Lalith sir (sic).”

Leading man Kavin also shared the surprise photo on his X handle and wrote, “Firstly, I'm happy that @VishnuEdavan1 is becoming a director and even happier to be part of his debut. Teaming up with @JenMartinmusic for the third time's pure joy, and I trust this album will be loved by all. Thank you, @7screenstudio Lalit sir, for uniting us all together for this project (sic).”

The filming of the yet-to-be-titled project commenced on July 22 in Chennai. Bankrolled by Seven Screen Studios, the film has music composed by Jen Martin, camera work handled by Leon Britto, and dance choreography by Brinda Gopal. More details about the film will be disclosed soon.
