Katrina Kaif says Vicky Kaushal ‘was just a name I had heard’ recalling how she fell for the actor
On the upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Katrina Kaif will finally spill the beans about her love story with Vicky Kaushal and how it all began.
While Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif were rumored to be dating for a long time, the two had never dropped any hints about their relationship. There was no PDA, no flirting on social media and they were rarely snapped together. So their wedding pictures were a pleasant surprise for fans, even though wedding rumors were doing the rounds. Till date, not much is known about their dating days except for the fact that things started brewing at Zoya Akhtar’s party one day. But much to our delight, Katrina has finally spilled the beans.
In the upcoming episode, the actress will be returning to the couch of Koffee With Karan for season 7. While sipping koffee with filmmaker and friend Karan Johar, Katrina will reveal, “I didn’t even know much about Vicky. He was just a name I had heard, but had never associated with. But when I met him, I was won over.” In the last season, Katrina had shared that Vicky and she could look good together. Hearing this, the actor had fainted on the couch in another episode. That’s how ViKat’s story began.
During her chat with Karan, Katrina will further reveal that she had confided in Zoya about her feelings for Vicky. They eventually fell in love and are now happily married. Talking about their love story, Katrina shared, “It was my destiny, and it was meant to be. There were so many coincidences that at one point, all of it felt so unreal.” In December last year, Katrina and Vicky tied the nuptial knot at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, in a grand but intimate ceremony.
Katrina will be gracing the koffee couch with her Phone Bhoot co-stars Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi this time. The trailer has already given us a glimpse of the gala time that the three will have together. Meanwhile, their horror comedy is all set to arrive in theatres on 4th November.
