Over the years, Katrina Kaif has been described as a ‘hardworking’ actress by several filmmakers and co-actors in the film industry. The actress recently opened up about how she feels about the tag and also revealed that her Bang Bang! co-star Hrithik Roshan once commented about hands saying that it looks like worker's hands.
Katrina is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming romantic thriller, Merry Christmas. In a recent interview, when asked how she feels about being described as hardworking, she reluctantly accepted the adjective with gratitude. Before reacting to the tag, she asked women in the audience to tell her how they would like to be described. and if hard working is one of them. “Beautiful, charming, poetic, and like that, something more romantic. Hardworking! But yes I mean I think you have to be grateful for what you get so hardworking it is. Yes, sir, I am hardworking,” she told Pinkvilla in an interview.
She went on to add, “Hrithik once told me that I have worker’s hands. I said I have workers’ hands and I am hardworking. I don’t mind, I will take it. I think there is a lot to be said for working hard and pursuing your dreams and to able to achieve your dreams just by working really hard. Not everyone is going to be described as genius or brilliant, that’s okay!” she added.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Merry Christmas is an upcoming romantic thriller which features Katrina Kaif alongside Vijay Sethupathi. The film also has Radhika Apte and Sanjay Kapoor in key roles. Talking about the film, Sriram told Scroll, “It begins like a romance and then things go crazy. It has a slow-burn beginning that gradually becomes a wild ride. After several postponements, the film is set to arrive in theatres on January 12, 2024, in Tamil and Hindi.
