Fans were super excited when Bollywood’s heartthrob Kartik Aaryan revealed that he will be starring in the sequel of Dostana , titled Dostana 2 , with Janhvi Kapoor . But we were in for a shock because one fine day the actor was dropped from the film. Soon Karan Johar ’s production house Dharma announced that due to professional circumstances, the team had decided to recast. Then there were rumors about a tiff between the actor and the filmmaker. Well, Kartik and Karan recently came face to face at the Pinkvilla Most stylish Awards ceremony.

During one moment that night, many actors joined KJo, Kiara Advani , Varun Dhawan and Anil Kapoor on stage to dance on The Punjaabban Song from their upcoming film JugJugg Jeeyo. Varun even went and got Kartik on stage and they all shook a leg together. Well, a new clip from the star-studded event has now surfaced on social media. In this video, we see Karan and Kartik deep in conversation and also hear the latter laugh while Kriti Sanon and Maniesh Paul are standing next to them. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh can be seen greeting his baba Arjun Kapoor with a kiss before the two went to chat with Parineeti Chopra .

Well, award functions clearly bring people together! For the uninitiated, Kartik’s exit from Dostana 2 was especially shocking because half of the film had already been shot. However, sources had claimed that it had not been a ‘pleasant experience’. Reports even suggested that this was apparently a plan to sabotage his acting career. What made the rumor mill churn again recently was that the actor was not invited to KJo’s 50th birthday bash in May, which was attended by most of Bollywood.

Maybe things could change between them, or maybe they were just being polite at the ceremony. Guess we'll never know!
