Kartik Aaryan gives a shout out to Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 2 with a 'pav bhaji' twist

Kartik Aaryan on Monday shared a photo with Ajay Devgn and gave a shout-out to his recently released movie Drishyam 2 which is getting a huge response at the box office. Interestingly, he referred to a famous sequence in the film regarding October 2-3 with a twist of the Indian delicacy Pav bhaji. He addressed Ajay as Vijay Salgaonkar, his character name from the movie, and himself as Rooh Baba of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 .

Taking to Instagram, Kartik posted a photo with Ajay from their visit to the 53rd edition of the International Film Festival of India(IFFI) on Sunday (November 20).In the photo, Kartik can be seen in a white shirt, grey pullover and blazer, while Ajay sported a black blazer over a white shirt. Kartik captioned the post as, “Vijay Salgaonkar aur Rooh Baba ne 2 Oct ko Goa mein ek sath Paav bhaaji khaayi. Aur 3 oct ko Satsang karke Mumbai laut aaye. Ps - paav bhaaji bohot achhi thi.” Soon after Kartik’s fans dropped hilarious comments to his caption. One of the fans wrote, “We need proof, hume pav bhaaji ka bill dikha.” Another commented, “Or bill liye ya nhi 5 oct waale.” Check out the post here:

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 also stars Tabu and Akshaye Khanna. The thriller, which was released on November 19, has been ruling the box office since its opening day. The film has so far collected more than Rs 60 crore and inching close to grossing Rs 100 crore in the coming week. On the other hand, Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also became one of the biggest hits of 2022 grossing Rs 250 crore worldwide. Meanwhile, workwise, Kartik is all geared up for his next release Freddy. The film features him in the role of the dentist, alongside Alaya F. It is slated for December 2 release on Disney+ Hotstar. On the other hand, Ajay will be next seen in his next directorial Bholaa co-starring Tabu.
