Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri to begin shooting for Anurag Basu’s film on this date in Mumbai | Deets inside

Actress Triptii Dimri became the national crush of India ever since she played the role of Zoya in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer marked the actress’ entry into mainstream cinema, after which she starred alongside Vicky Kaushal in Bad Newz and will feature opposite Rajkummar Rao in her upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The actress is set to star alongside actor Kartik Aaryan in Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and has signed yet another project with the actor for Anurag Basu’s upcoming project. According to reports, Kartik and Triptii will begin shooting for Anurag Basu’s untitled film on September 24.

Anurag Basu’s untitled project starring Kartik Aaryn and Triptii Dimri is reported to be an epic musical love story. The reports reveal that the star cast will begin shooting for the film on September 24 in Mumbai.

Speaking about Kartik’s admiration for love stories and Triptii’s excitement to star alongside Kartik in an epic love story after doing the horror comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the report said, “Kartik Aaryan is a big fan of love stories and he is excited to embark on this journey with Anurag Basu. Some script reading sessions have already taken place over the last few weeks and the actor is now all set to don the hat of a love boy for Anurag Basu.”

Backed by Bhushan Kumar, the film's music will be composed by Pritam. The report stated, “Bhushan Kumar believes in churning out music that stands the test of time. He is well aware of the importance of music in a love story and is looking to create some evergreen songs for Anurag Basu, Kartik Aaryan, and Triptii Dimri.”

It is reported that the film will be shot in multiple locations across India. After the film goes on floors in September, it will be shot till February and will have an expected release by the end of 2025.

For those unaware, Kartik and Triptii will mark their first on-screen appearance this Diwali with the horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the film also features Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit.
