Suriya 44 marks the first collaboration between the renowned filmmaker and the actor. Described as a gangster drama, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Nassar, Prakash Raj, and Sujith Shankar in prominent roles. The movie is currently in the production phase.
