    Hansal Mehta’s web series Scoop completes one year of its release. Marking the occasion, the lead actress of the series, Karishma Tanna posted a collection of behind-the-scenes pictures from the shooting days.

    Scoop turns 1

    Taking to Instagram, Karishma shared a collection of stills from her web series, Scoop. She captioned the post, “Swipe left. 1 year to #Scoop 2nd June last year was truly special. Thank you and grateful to each everyone who was a part of this show. scooponnetflix #nostalgic.”  The first video features the introduction of Karishma’s character, journalist Jagruti Pathak, who is fierce, street-smart and surrounded by enemies. The series tells the tale of Jagruti, whose life changes when gangster Chhota Rajan decides to give her an exclusive interview.

    The second picture is a poster image of Scoop, featuring Karishma, actor Zeeshan Ayyub and Harman Baweja. The third picture features Karishma, dressed in local Pahadi attire, with the director of Scoop, Hansal Mehta. The fourth picture features Karishma, dressed in a floral print kurta, standing behind the bars. The fifth picture is of Karishma holding the camera, while the sixth shows the actress holding the clapboard.

    Fans of Karishma and Scoop dropped multiple red heart emojis on the post.

    Scoop won awards at BIFF

    The series won the Best Asian TV Series at the Busan International Film Festival, while Karishma took home the Best Actress award. In her statement, she said, "I am truly humbled and elated by this recognition at the Busan Film Festival. It has been an incredible journey bringing Jagruti Pathak to life in 'Scoop.' This award belongs to the entire team who worked tirelessly to make this project a reality. I am immensely grateful to my fans for their unwavering support, and I hope to continue pushing boundaries and delivering powerful performances in the future."

    Based on the real-life story of journalist Jigna Vora, Scoop was directed by Hansal Mehta. Released in 2023, Scoop starred Karishma Tanna, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Harman Baweja, among others, in pivotal roles.
