Kareena Kapoor Khan walks the ramp like a boss; trolls body-shame her, say 'Shapeless old aunty'

Kareena Kapoor Khan dazzled in a blue jumpsuit as she walked the ramp at an event in Mumbai on Wednesday. The pictures and videos featuring Kareena from the promotional event for a luxury car brand have gone viral. Even the actress herself dropped a few snaps from the occasion on her Instagram handle. While some of her fans drooled over her charisma and called her ‘queen’, some trolls addressed her as ‘aunty’.

In reaction to the viral video, Kareena’s fans flooded the comment section with compliments. While one user wrote, "Perfection thy name is @kareenakapoorkhan," another commented, "Bebo always, she's queen." One of the fans also took a cue from her Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham character Poo’s dialogue and wrote, "My question is who are those people who are on their phones and not looking while Pooh is walking the ramp."

But some section of people who are apparently not happy with Kareena’s ” If you don’t like me, don’t watch me’ comment. One of the users wrote, “A big dislike button for her reason behavior and tongue”. While some of them called her out for her age and asked, “Where are the young faces?” Another person commented, “Shapeless old aunty said bro nothing left” and a few others wrote, ‘Kareena Aunty namaste’.

For those unaware, Kareena faced backlash around the time her movie Laal Singh Chaddha was hitting theatres over her past statement on nepotism. Back in 2020, she was quoted as saying,“The audience has made us, no one else has made us. Same people pointing fingers are the ones who have made these nepotistic stars right? Aap jaa rahe ho na film dekhne? Mat jao. Nobody has forced you. So I don’t understand it. I find this whole discussion is completely weird.” However, when Laal Singh Chaddha was released she urged people not to boycott the film.

Meanwhile, Kareena will next be seen in her OTT debut project The Devotion of Suspect X helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film is based on the Japanese novel of the same name and also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead roles.
