Karan Johar all set to host the Indian version of The Traitors; contestants' names yet to be revealed

If at all there is someone who can rightly be called as ‘Mr. Omnipresent’ in Bollywood, then, there is just one person who will win this title hands down…you guessed it right! It’s the one and only Karan Johar. Be it promoting a brand or hosting a chat show with the otherwise reclusive celebs, filmmaking, directing blockbusters, judging reality shows, writing success stories (read ‘films’) … the list is endless! This man … Karan Johar is all over the place and doing utmost justice to everything!

Speaking about him being the inimitable host and his almost perfect hosting skills, there is good news on that front. After having hosted many shows and award functions, Karan is now all set to host the Indian version of the much-acclaimed foreign reality show The Traitors.

In a note shared with the media, the show’s host Karan Johar said The Traitors was one of the most watched reality series with its popularity growing all over the world as the audience laps up the riveting drama and entertainment. He added that, having watched the UK and US versions, he had become an avid fan of the format and was in awe of Claudia Winkleman and Alan Cumming, who were so marvellous in the way they host their respective shows with poise yet suspenseful theatrics that leave you at the edge of your seat.

He also expressed his happiness about being chosen as the host of the Indian version of The Traitors by stating that, building on the very successful relationship with Prime Video, he was very thrilled to take on the mantle as the host for the Indian adaptation of the show. In the same breath, he stated that the 20 players on the show were in for an unforgettable and unpredictable journey, especially with him operating in the shadows.

As for the show, it has been making news and been in the news for quite some time now. Even though the host of the show has been officially announced as Karan Johar, the names of the contestants, however, are yet to be revealed.

But there have been many speculations about the probable names who might be seen on the Karan Johar hosted show as the contestants. These names (as per a news report in Hindustan Times) include the likes of the ace comic Harsh Gujral, the renowned fashion critic Sufi, actress Jannat Zubair, , model and actor Sahil Salathia, actor Sudanshu Pandey, extremely popular rapper Raftaar, the social media’s darling Uorfi Javed, , Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi.
