Karan Deol and fiance Drisha Acharya make a rare public appearance ahead of their rumoured June wedding

Ahead of the rumoured wedding in June, actor Karan Deol and his long-time girlfriend Drisha Acharya were captured walking together on a pavement in Mumbai by paparazzi. The two made their first public appearance after their engagement. The couple was engaged just a few months back in an intimate ceremony. The photos of the cute couple were shared by a paparazzo on Instagram. The engagement date had coincided with Karan’s grandparents Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur’s marriage anniversary.
In photos, Karan looks dapper wearing a black graphic T-shirt along with a pair of grey shorts. On the other hand, Drisha was spotted in ripped blue jeans and a black T-shirt along with matching black sunglasses and slip-on. While Karan is the grandson of veteran actor Dharmendra, Drisha is the great-granddaughter of filmmaker Bimal Roy. The beautiful girl is based out of Dubai where she works as a manager at a travel agency. Her mother, Chimoo B Acharya, moved to Dubai in 1998 and is a former advertising executive.
Karan, who would be next seen on the big screen in Apne 2 where he will feature alongside grandfather Dharmendra, father Sunny Deol and uncle Bobby Deol, is expected to tie the knot with Drisha between June 16 and 18 this year. According to media reports, the two would be getting married in a grand ceremony in Mumbai at Taj Lands End. The reports also suggested that only close friends and family members know about the event date.
Meanwhile, Karan started off his career as an assistant director on the sets of the movie Yamla Pagla Deewana 2. He made his Bollywood debut with the 2019 release Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. He was then seen in Velle. However, both movies ended up as duds at the box office. On the other hand, his father Sunny Deol will be reprising his role of Tara Singh for his upcoming Gadar 2:The Katha continues.
