Popular comedian Kapil Sharma made his acting debut with the film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. The film, with a funny storyline and comedic punchlines, depicted the romantic life of a man with four different ladies. Now, the makers of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon are reported to have reunited with the comedian for the sequel film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2.

According to reports, Kapil Sharma has already become a part of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 and is all set to begin shooting for the film. The report revealed, “After Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Kapil experimented with various genres and is now looking forward to come back with a pure comic entertainer. He has liked the script and is expected to start shooting from the end of this year.”
The report also stated that the writer of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon Anukalp Goswami will direct the sequel film. Abbas Mustan will creatively supervise the romantic-comedy drama, according to reports.
“Anukalp has written the script and will also be directing it for the big screen. Abbas Mustan on the other hand will creatively supervise the project, bringing their expertise to the narrative. The film is being produced by Ratan Jain,” the source added.
It is also reported that like the first film, the sequel film will also feature multiple actresses, alongside Kapil Sharma. The report stated, “The makers are looking to cast multiple actresses to lead the film along with Kapil Sharma. The film will be with the guy at the centre of the conflict.”
Kapil’s acting debut
Kapil Sharma is a popular standup comedian who has become a household name ever since he released his comedy shows on television. After working in television for many years, the comedian ventured into acting and made his debut with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon which also starred Elli AvRam, Simran Kaur Mundi, Sai Lokur, and Varun Sharma among others. The actor has also featured in films like Firangi, Zwigato and Crew.
Kapil recently announced that his show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, will be returning with its second season on Netflix.
