    Kanguva director Siva reveals how Madan Karky's dialogues in the film has impacted the Suriya-starrer period fantasy flick's authenticity.

    Ahead of the worldwide release of Kanguva, the makers of the Suriya-starrer have been visiting various parts of the country to meet fans and share their insights about the film. During a recent promotional interview, the man behind Kanguva, Siruthai Siva, delved deeper into the extensive research that went into the making of this upcoming fantasy action period drama.

    The director revealed that he had conducted extensive research before starting the project and also shared how screenplay writer and lyricist Madan Karky was amazed after hearing the story. He said, “The film takes place in two timelines—one in the present era, 2024-2025, and the other set around 1,000-1,500 years ago. I conducted extensive research regarding the second timeline. It was a research-intensive process. From the costumes and hairstyles to the dialogues and decor, I ensured that every detail was crafted with authenticity in mind.”

    He added, “After all the research was completed, I decided to give my 100% to the film. When I finished writing the story, I narrated it to Madhan Karky sir, whom I vividly remember being stunned for a few minutes after listening to the story. He was totally on board to join as the screenplay writer. His dialogues in the film are exceptional and will transport the audience to a different dimension.”

    Meanwhile, Madhan Karky, who has written the screenplay for Kanguva, has penned a note praising Suriya’s Kanguva. The lyricist and screenplay writer revealed that despite watching the film several times during the dubbing sessions, the film never ceases to captivate. He also went on to call the film one of the finest pieces of art. He wrote, “Watched the full version of #Kanguva today. I’ve seen each scene more than a hundred times during the dubbing process, yet the impact of the movie grows with every viewing. The grandeur of the visuals, the intricate detailing of the art, the depth of the story, and the majesty of the music all combine with a powerhouse performance by @Suriya_offl sir, making this one of the finest pieces of art ever created.     Directed by Siva, Kanguva, starring Suriya, Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, and K. S. Ravikumar, is set to hit big screens on November 14, 2024, in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, English, French, and Spanish.
