Kangana Ranaut shares special message for Karan Johar after his cryptic note on ‘ilzaam’; calls him Chacha Chaudhary
After Karan Johar’s cryptic post, actress Kangana Ranaut has now shared a special note for the filmmaker remembering the time he allegedly bullied her
Every now and then, actress Kangana Ranaut uses the power of social media to make a revelation about the Hindi film industry. Just recently, she shared a viral clip of filmmaker Karan Johar admitting that he wanted to ‘murder’ Anushka Sharma’s career when she first started out in Bollywood. The filmmaker had added that he wanted Aditya Chopra, who gave Anushka her big break, to sign another lead star. This video is from a film festival held in 2016. Sometime later, KJo shared a cryptic message which read: “Laga lo ilzaam..... hum jhukne waalon mein se nahi.. Jhoot ka ban jao ghulam... Hum bolne waalon mein se nahi... Jitna neecha dikhaoge... Jitne aarop lagaoge.. Hum girne waalon mein se nahi…”
He had further added, “Humara karam humari Vijay hai... Aap utha lo talvaar... Hum marne waalon mein se nahi…” Netizens guessed that this was a reply to Kangana’s Instagram story. Well, not one to hold back, Kangana has now hit back at the filmmaker. Along with a screenshot of his note, which has been shared by a paparazzi on social media, the actress wrote a special message for Karan. Her post read: “Ek waqt tha jab chacha Chaudhary elite nepo mafia walon ke saath national television pe mujhe insult and bully karta tha because I couldn't speak English... aaj inki Hindi dekh ke khayal aaya, abhi toh sirf tumhari Hindi sudhari hai aage aage dekho hota hai kya.”
It was on one of the most popular episodes of Karan’s chat show Koffee With Karan that Kangana first expressed her true feelings for the filmmaker. The actress was on the show to promote her film Rangoon with co-stars Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. She had called KJo out for giving her unnecessary attitude and also referred to him as the ‘flag bearer of nepotism’. Years later, Kangana described her appearance on the show as a surgical strike.
