    Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was allegedly slapped by a CISF official who was on duty at the Chandigarh airport. The said incident happened today (June 6, 2024) around 3.30 pm. No sooner had the incident taken place, there was a video which showed Kangana Ranaut talking to the CISF officials soon became viral. The CISF official has been identified as Kulwinder Kaur.

    Just a few minutes before, Kangana Ranaut took to social media and issued a statement (through a video) in this regard. The newly elected MP (Member of Parliament) said "I have been getting a lot of phone calls, from the media as well as my well-wishers as well. Most importantly, first of all, I am safe, I am perfectly fine. The incident which had happened today at Chandigarh airport was during the security check”.

    She added, “No sooner had I got my security check and came out, the lady in the second cabin, which was a CISF security staff, was waiting for me to cross her. And then, she came from the side and hit me”.

    Kangana Ranaut, then, concluded her statement stating, “And also, she started abusing me. When I asked her as to why she did so, she said that she supported the farmers' protest. I am safe… but my concern is about the terrorism and extremism that is increasing in Punjab, how do we handle that? Thank you!”

    For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut who has now been elected as MP (member of Parliament was allegedly slapped by a CISF official today at the Chandigarh airport. As per a news report in CNN-News 18, it has been said that, Kangana Ranaut will be reportedly filing a complaint to the Home Ministry in Delhi, although she did not mention anything about the same in the video.
