Kangana Ranaut believes she was a 'replica' of Madhubala in her younger days, shares proof
Kangana Ranaut shares pictures from her younger days claiming that she resembles legenday actress Madhubala.
Yesteryear actress Madhubala holds an important place in the history of Indian cinema not only for her acting talent but also for her beauty. She was bestowed with the title of ‘Venus of Indian cinema’ and even called Marilyn Monroe of Bollywood for smouldering looks. Surprisingly, Kangana Ranaut wants to believe that she was a replica of her in her early days. She also shared a collage of pictures from her younger days to prove it.
Sharing the pictures on her Instagram stories, Kangana wrote, “As people want me to play cinema goddess Madhubala on screen, when I started out I was replica of Madhubala's younger days not sure about it now.” She also swooned over her own younger version when she just start out in Bollywood. In one of the pictures, she is seen wearing a black dress and sporting her usual sparkling smile. Alongside, she wrote, “Oh God! This is from my first year in the film industry.”She also added one more picture of hers with the caption, “Throwback Thursday” in which she is dressed in a white knotted shirt paired with a printed skirt. She was one of the highest-paid actresses in the post-independence era and her beauty is still etched in everyone's hearts, and Kangana’s post comes as a surprise for her fans.
Meanwhile, workwise, Kangana is currently busy shooting for her upcoming Tamil film, Chandramukhi 2. She recently wrapped up her directorial venture, Emergency, which is a political drama featuring her as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
