'Kangana might be crying at corner': Diljit Dosanjh and DJ Diplo feed sweets to each other; netizens react

There is no stopping for Punjabi singer-turned-actor Diljit Dosanjh. He has gone global with his recent performance at the Coachella music festival. Even popular American DJ and music producer Diplo, known for Lean On, was seen grooving to his tunes at Coachella. In the latest development, Diljit and American Dj were seen partying together and feeding each other sweets, leaving fans amazed.
On Thursday morning, Diljit shared a video wherein he could be seen treating Diplo with sweets. “Ley Bai Diplo Hun Apna Bai Ae. [Now, Diplo has become my buddy.]” he captioned the post. And quickly after, Diplo replied, “Mithe laddoo, Mithe beats.” To which Diljit responded, “Diplo, Oh Balle Jatta.” Their social media banter made fans excited and they are looking forward to their collaboration. While one of the users reacted, “Diplo (×) Diljit loading.” Another commented, “@diljitdosanjh he is baptised now after having mithe ladoo. He will sing in Punjabi too, sic.”
On the other hand, some netizens took a dig at Kangana Ranaut after Diljit’s accomplishment on the global platform. For the unversed, Kangana often takes potshots at the actor for one or another reason ever since the farmers' protest in 2020. One of the users wrote, “Kangana might be crying at the corner.” Another comment in Punjabi, read, “Kithe kangna te kithe kadhe balliye.” “Kangana Ranaut nu dandla paindian hunia,” added another netizen.
Earlier, Diljit took to his Instagram stories and re-shared a post by Diplo, who was seen grooving to his track ‘Patiala Peg’. “Thank You Diplo,” he wrote on the video. He also shared pictures of his performance at the Coachella music festival. Several Bollywood celebrities including Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kiara Advani, among others, gave a shout-out to him on their respective Instagram stories.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Diljit will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila, which is based on the true story of the late Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Apart from this, he also has Rhea Kapoor's The Crew, alongside Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. He will also feature in the Punjabi film Jodi alongside Nimrat Khaira
