Ahead of the worldwide release of the Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD, the makers have been dropping interesting glimpses and treats for fans eagerly awaiting to experience the marvel on the big screen. In an unexpected crossover, the makers of the Nag Ashwin film shared a video of Kantara-fame Kannada star Rishab Shetty recently taking a fun ride in Bujji, the futuristic vehicle from Kalki 2898 AD. The makers took to their social media handles to share the delightful collaboration by posting "Kalki x Kantara," along with a video of Shetty driving Bujji through the town of Kundapura in Karnataka.

Rishab Shetty's collaboration with Kalki 2898 AD has added an interesting element to the highly anticipated magnum opus, further generating hype and fuelling expectations for its release.

The Kannada actor later shared his heartfelt wishes to Prabhas, the lead actor of Kalki 2898 AD, and expressed his admiration for the Telugu star. He said, “The glimpse in the teaser was enough for me to know the range of Bujji in the film. What an amazing experience to take Bujji for a spin. All the best, Bhairavaa and Bujji. Kalki is releasing on June 27. Get to the theatres and experience it on the big screen; all the best, Prabhas sir.” He also encouraged moviegoers to watch the film in cinemas on June 27, 2024.

Not just Rishab, but many other South Indian superstars have expressed excitement over the release of the upcoming sci-fi spectacle, Kalki 2898 AD. Earlier, Tamil star Silambarasan took to his social media handles to share his thoughts about the extravagant trailer of the film. The Thug Life star wrote, “#Kalki2898AD is set to redefine the future of cinema and inspire directors to dream boldly. Witnessing the dedication and hard work of every team member manifest into this remarkable work of art fills me with immense pride and joy. My heartfelt wishes to the entire #Kalki team for this extraordinary achievement.”

Legendary director SS Rajamouli also praised Kamal Haasan’s transformation as Kali and revealed that he was stunned to see the Ulaganayagan pull off yet another amazing avatar in his glorious acting career. The director wrote, “Power-packed trailer it is…It sets the right mood and tone to watch the film FDFS.” He added, “Amitabh ji, Darling, and Deepika’s characters seem to have a lot of depth and are truly intriguing. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the upcoming spectacle stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Anna Ben, and Disha Patani in key roles. The censor board recently cleared the upcoming Telugu science-fiction film Kalki 2898 AD for theatrical release with a U/A certificate. The film is slated to hit cinemas on June 27, 2024.
