Kalki 2898 AD- THIS is how Deepika Padukone expressed gratitude towards Atlee after he praised her work in the film!

After all the hype and the long wait, the much-awaited film Kalki 2898 finally got released last week. Even though the film has been getting mixed reactions from everyone, those who have seen the film and have loved it, just cannot seem to stop singing the praises!

One such ‘cinegoer’ happens to be the most celebrated filmmaker of recent times, Atlee. After having seen the film, he took to social media and wrote his ‘opinion’ about the film. As a reply, Deepika Padukone took to social media and expressed her heartfelt gratitude on Atlee’s post. She took to Instagram Stories and wrote, ‘Thank You’. Saying this, she tagged the hit filmmaker Atlee.

For the unversed, filmmaker Atlee wrote, ‘Kalki was absolutely blown away by @nag_ashwin ashwin's incredible filmmaking and the high quality of the film. Hats off to you, brother! And a big shoutout to producer @swapnaduttchalasani for the amazing production value. This film is truly stunning in every aspect.

He continued, ‘@actorprabhas sir Your performance was amazing! @deepikapadukone Mam I'm your biggest fan, your work was so good! @amitabhbachchan, sir, you were at a god level in this film, sir! Masss’’. He wrapped up the post stating, @musicsanthosh Vfx Kudos to the entire team. Best entertainment with great visual treats is Kalki’.

As for the film Kalki 2898 AD, besides Deepika Padukone, it also starred the legendary superstars in the form of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas alongwith the svelte actress Disha Patani. While the film has been directed by Nag Ashwin, it has been produced by C. Aswini Dutt, Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt.

Looking back a bit, readers may recall that the film’s title was not Kalki 2898 AD initially. At first, the film was titled (tentatively) as Prabhas 21. Post that, the film was titled as ‘Project K’. eventually, the film’s makers finalised the title as Kalki 2898 AD. The film Kalki 2898 AD, is reportedly one of the most expensive films ever made in India.
