The good news is that the makers of Kalki 2898 AD today took to social media and made the most awaited announcement about the release of Kalki 2898 on OTT. The date for which many were waiting with bated breath is August 22.

In no time, the netizens took to the comments section and expressed their happiness. While one netizen wrote, ‘At last, I can relive the Kalki 2898 experience all over again. This is not a film. After the film managed to surpass the magical figure of Rs. 1000 crores at the box office, mega star Amitabh Bachchan said that, for Prabhas, this could be something of a routine because a lot of his films cross this ₹1000 crore figure. But for him, he was truly indebted and very grateful to have been made a part of this huge concept called Kalki. He revealed that, he had lready seen the film four times... and each time, he had discovered something new, something that he may have missed when he saw it the first time.

As for the film Kalki 2898, besides Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, it also stars two of the legendary actors in the form of Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan along with the svelte Disha Patani. While the film had been directed by Nag Ashwin, it was produced by C. Aswani Dutt, Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt. The sci-fi dystopian drama was released in many languages besides Hindi. These languages included Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and English.
