As reported earlier, Kalki 2898 AD will have Kamal Haasan playing a cameo appearance as the antagonist named Kali. As per reports, the makers of the Nag Ashwin directorial have given Kamal Haasan only 20-minute screen time for the movie's first instalment. However, in the second part of the film, the actor is said to have a screen time of over 90 minutes. This news has thrilled the fans who are awaiting the release of the magnum opus soon!
Kalki 2898 AD’s Bujji revealed
Recently the makers of the film unveiled the fourth episode of their ‘From Scratch’ series, where they introduced ‘someone special’ to Prabhas’ character Bhairava. Named Bujji, the new unique character is introduced as Bhairava’s best friend and the brain behind the futuristic car in the film.
Earlier, there was a buzz that Keerthy Suresh would be dubbing for the character, and now it has been confirmed that Mahanati actress has lent her voice to this special vehicle named Bujji. The new episode takes viewers through Bujji’s making and how the futuristic vehicle is controlled by a brain, just like a human body. The glimpse also showcases the car’s manufacturing shots. However, the official reveal of Bujji's voice will be made on May 22, 2024, at a grand event.

Directed by Mahanati-fame director Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is slated to have a grand worldwide release on June 27, 2024. The film will have Prabhas playing the role of Bhairava, who is the alter-ego of the Kalki avatar. Amitabh Bachchan is set to appear in the role of the immortal Ashwatthama in Kalki 2898 AD, while Deepika Padukone is reportedly essaying the role of Padma in the movie.
