Recently, the Devara team wrapped up the final shooting schedule, with leading star Jr NTR sharing the update with his fans. However, rumours began circulating on social media that the actor had been involved in a car accident last night in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills.

The actor's team has now released an official statement refuting these rumours. The statement clarified that Jr NTR had sustained a minor injury while working out in the gym, which caused a sprain in his left wrist. “Mr. NTR @tarak9999 sustained a minor sprain to his left wrist a couple of days ago while working out in the gym. His hand has been immobilized with a cast as a precautionary measure. Despite the injury, Mr. NTR completed the shoot for Devara last night and is now recuperating. The cast will be off in a couple of weeks, and he will be back at work soon.”
The statement concluded by requesting the media to avoid spreading further rumours regarding the incident.
Fans of the Telugu star have praised him for his dedication to his craft and for completing his work on the film despite the injury.

Last night, Devara star Jr NTR took to his social media handles to share that he had wrapped up shooting for the first part of his upcoming film. Sharing a photo from the set, the actor penned a heartfelt note that read, “Just wrapped my final shot for Devara Part 1. What a wonderful journey it has been. I will miss the ocean of love and the incredible team. Can’t wait for everyone to sail into the world crafted by Siva on the 27th of September.”

About Devara
Directed by Koratala Siva, the upcoming action drama stars Jr NTR alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The story revolves around a savior figure, played by Jr NTR, who is tasked with protecting ten coastal villages where a vast treasure is hidden.
In addition to the lead cast, the film will feature Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh in supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the original background score and soundtrack for the film.
