Jigra trailer: Alia Bhatt stuns and shocks the audience as a protective sister to Vedang Raina; fans just can't get enough of her

So… the much-awaited trailer of the Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra is out. In a nutshell, if one had to describe the entire trailer in one word, then, the word has to be ‘spectacular’. Right from the word go, Alia Bhatt steals your attention and heart (in that order) with her super splendid performance. The best part about Alia Bhatt in the trailer is that she lets her silence do most of the talking!

The trailer starts off with a phone call that serves as a ‘wake up call’ to Satya (Alia Bhatt), who happens to be an extremely concerned and worried sister who asks her brother Ankur (Vedang Raina) whether he had messed up with anything. She also asks him whether his blood samples will come clean. The call then ends with an assurance from her to her brother that nothing in the world can touch him when she is around!

On the other hand, there is Ankur who gets pronounced a death statement in the court after three months and that too by electrocution! After hearing this, Satya starts brainstorming on ideas to meet her brother, which also includes her slashing her wrist as well! What follows after that is her incessant and daredevil attempts to save her brother, even at the cost of risking her own life!

Whether Satya becomes successful in not just rescuing her brother Ankur, but also saving him from the harsh laws of the foreign country is what comes across in the gripping trailer.
