Jigra: Tenu Sang Rakhna track celebrates Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina’s bhai-behen bond

All the eyes are now trained on the Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra. Ever since the time the film was announced, it has been making news and for all the right reasons. Topping everything is the fact that the film sees the spunky Alia as one of the producers! Secondly the film features her in the leading role.

Speaking about the film, the makers have now dropped the film’s most sentiment filled track, which has been titled ‘Tenu Sang Rakhna’. The said track features Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina dealing with their own struggles.

By now, it’s clear that the plot of the film deals with a plot that, while Alia Bhatt’s brother (played by Vedang Raina) is not just stuck, but also jailed in a foreign country, the former is relentlessly trying her level best and pulling out all stops to help him and set him free and bring him back with him to India.

The said track has been sung by Arijit Singh, Anumita Nadesan and Achint Thakkar, with its lyrics penned by Varun Grover. The music of the track, however, has been composed by Achint Thakkar.

As for the film, it stars Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, Aditya Nanda, Sobhita Dhulipala, Manoj Pahwa, Rahul Ravindran and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor in the leading roles. While the film has been directed by Vasan Bala, it has been produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Soumen Mishra. The film is all set to be released in theatres on October 11.
