Jigra teaser trailer OUT: Fearless Alia Bhatt impresses with action avatar to save her brother Vedang Raina in this Vasan Bala film

Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina are set to appear in Vasan Bala’s upcoming thriller drama film Jigra. The makers released the teaser trailer a while ago, depicting on-screen siblings Alia and Vedang's tumultuous life when they get separated. The actress leaves no stone unturned to save her brother.

Jigra teaser trailer unveiled

Taking to Instagram, Alia shared the teaser trailer of Jigra and wrote, “Ulti ginti shuru! #JIGRA TEASER TRAILER OUT NOW!” It begins with Alia's teary-eyed character sitting in a restaurant and narrating her life struggles to Mr. Bhatia. She is seen recalling how God took her mother, her father killed himself, distant relatives sheltered them and she paid massive rent for it. She concludes the conversation by saying that the story is long and her brother has little time. To this, Mr. Bhatia replies that because the time is very little, they should blow up the walls of the prison.

Later, Alia’s life is depicted in snippets while the song, ‘Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka’ is played in the background. In one scene, Alia is seen wearing a bulletproof jacket and trying to get out of a room that is being bombarded with bullets. In another, she takes a knife and tries to slit her wrist with it.

Later, Vedang is introduced in the video who is handcuffed and getting beaten up by the cops. Later, a series of shots depicting the sibling's chemistry is displayed on the screen. Multiple shots depicting Alia running away and jumping into the fire are shown in the teaser trailer. The Jigra teaser trailer is a rollercoaster ride filled with sibling love and intense drama. Alia's heroic act will be a treat for the fans.

The recreated version of the song ‘Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka’ played in the video is sung by Vedang Raina.
