Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt is now all set for the release of Jigra, which happens to be one of the most prestigious projects in her kitty right now. Today, she took to social media and posted an extremely ‘aww-dorable’ photograph of hers sitting along with none other than Diljit Dosanjh.
The said photograph had both the superstars sitting on a chair. While Diljit Dosanjh’s chair had a text which read, ‘Sings About Kudi’, on the other hand Alia Bhatt’s chair had a card that stated, "The Said ‘Kudi’. After posting the said pic, Alia Bhatt captioned the same as ‘chairs say it all’, which was followed by a mic emoji and had even tagged Diljit Dosanjh.
In no time, there were an array of messages from the fans and followers on the said post. One user posted, ‘All of us are super excited for Jigra for many reasons like Alia Bhatt and her action sequences and intense drama. This time round, she gave us yet another reason to wait eagerly for the film’.
There was another user who posted, ‘We are sure that Jigra will see Alia pushing her acting boundaries and delve into a more physically demanding role. It would be a challenging yet exciting opportunity for her to showcase her versatility and prove her ability to take on diverse characters. Besides all of that, now with the addition of Diljit Dosanjh, the film’s likeability quotient has gone up by notches’.
As for the film, besides Alia Bhatt, it also stars Vedang Raina, Aditya Nanda, Manoj Pahwa and Rahul Ravindran in all important roles. While the film has been directed by Vasan Bala, it has been produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Soumen Mishra. The film is all set to be released in theatres on 11 October 2024.
