Jaya Bachchan's mother Indira Bhaduri hospitalised in Bhopal

Bollywood actress Jaya Bachchan and her actor son Abhishek Bachchan have reportedly rushed to Bhopal, in order to be with the former’s mother Indira Bhaduri, who has been admitted there. However, these are only media reports and are yet to be confirmed.

As per a news report in India Today, the 94-year-old Indira Bhaduri is presently undergoing treatment related to a backbone issue. One may note that, after the news about Jaya Bachchan's mother Indira Bhaduri being admitted in a hospital became known, there were many media agencies and social media which claimed that she had passed away.

However, all of these baseless rumours were put to rest by the official statement which was issued by the media agency representing Abhishek Bachchan. The media note read as, ‘Jaya Bachchan’s mother Indira Bhaduri is alive & well. Recently, several media reports have claimed that Jaya Bachchan’s mother, Indira Bhaduri, has passed away, stating that her son Abhishek Bachchan rushed to Bhopal in response to this tragic news. However, these reports have been confirmed as false’.

It added, ‘At this time, Jaya Bachchan and her family have not experienced any loss. Fans are encouraged to remain supportive and to await credible updates rather than engaging with misleading information.’

It also mentioned, ‘The emotional toll on families during trying times is profound, and they should not have to contend with the added burden of false reports. Let’s respect the privacy of the Bachchan family during this time and focus on reliable sources for any updates in the future’.

On the other hand, the media agency, which represents Amitabh Bachchan, too, sent out a media note, which stated, ‘Recently, several media reports have claimed that Jaya Bachchan’s mother, Indira Bhaduri, has passed away, stating that her son Abhishek Bachchan rushed to Bhopal in response to this tragic news. However, these reports have been confirmed as false.
