Actress Janhvi Kapoor has reacted to the news of her sister Khushi Kapoor starring alongside Junaid Khan in their upcoming film.

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's younger daughter Khushi Kapoor is all set to share screen space with Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan in their upcoming untitled project. The makers of the film officially announced the film by sharing a poster on social media. Now, Khushi’s sister and actress Janhvi Kapoor reacted to her film's announcement.

The makers of Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan starrer revealed the release date. Backed by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment and helmed by Advait Chandan, the film starring Khushi and Junaid is all about ‘love, likes and everything in between.’ The poster revealed the theatrical release of the film to be February 7, 2025. The caption of the post stated, “SAVE THE DATE!!! 7-2-25,"
Advait Chandan has earlier directed Zaira Wasim starrer Secret Superstar and Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. A post on the official Instagram handle of Phantom Studios wrote, “Are you ready to experience love in the digital era with @khushi05k and #JunaidKhan? In Cinemas worldwide on 7th Feb 2025! Directed by @advaitchandan.”

Sharing the announcement on her Instagram stories, Janhvi wrote, ‘This is going to be special.’
For those unaware, Khushi Kapoor made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. Khushi played the role of Betty in the film. The Archies also starred Suhana Khan and Agastya Raina.
Apart from this untitled film with Junaid, Khushi is also reported to feature in a film with Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Junaid, however, is the son of actor Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta. The actor made his film debut with Maharaj, which also starred Jaideep Ahlawat and Sharvari Wagh. Helmed by Siddharth P Malhotra and backed by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films Entertainment, the film showcased the events leading up to the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862.
