Jaideep Ahlawat to star alongside Manoj Bajpayee in The Family Man season 3? Here’s all you need to know

Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee-starrer The Family Man is one of the most loved web series in the country. After a successful run of two seasons, the makers of the series have kickstarted the shooting for the third season in Nagaland. If reports are to be believed, Bollywood actor Jaideep Ahlawat has joined the cast, including Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, and Sharib Hashmi, among others.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, actor Jaideep Ahlawat is the newest addition to the third season of the web series The Family Man. The actor has been shooting in Nagaland for the first schedule of the third season though neither the makers nor the actor has officially confirmed the news.

Jaideep marked his OTT web series debut with Paatal Lok and has been seen in films like Jaane Jaan, and Maharaj among others.

Actor Sharib Hashmi, on the other hand, confirmed that he has begun shooting for the third season of The Family Man on social media. Reacting to a fan's tweet who expressed her excitement for season three, Sharib wrote, "Mee too!!! Abhi shooting chal rahi hai (The shoot is in the process)."

The Family Man season 4 in the making?

Earlier, a report by Mid-Day revealed that the makers have already locked the script for season four of the series. The source revealed that while the shooting for the third season has begun, Raj and DK have begun discussions about season four of the series. “Raj-DK are toying with the idea at the moment, and have yet to take a final decision,” the source revealed.

The Family Man made its world premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2019 and received critical acclaim. After a successful season one, the makers of The Family Man renewed the series with another season which saw the addition of South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. This only increases the audience’s anticipation about Jaideep’s role in season three.

Jaideep was last seen in Maharaj, alongside actor Junaid Khan. The film centered around the infamous Maharaj Libel Case of 1862.
