Jacqueliene Fernandez moves court seeking protection from Sukesh Chandrasekhar, accuses him of sending 'troubling letters'

Jacqueliene Fernandez has been getting several love letters from conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar who is lodged in jail. The actress has now moved court seeking protection from him claiming that he has been trying to intimidate her by sending ‘troubling’ letters.

On Wednesday, the Kick actress appealed to Delhi's Patiala House Court and sought direction from the Economic Offence Wing of Delhi Police and the Superintendent of Mandoli Jail to immediately restrain him from issuing any further letters. She also alleged that these letters, once published by the media outlets, create a distressing environment for her.

In response, the Economic Offence Wing of Delhi supported Jacqueliene’s plea and stated that it is concerning that the letters not only threaten the present applicant directly but also affect her social and professional assignments. The trial court judge noted the submission and listed the matter for January 17, 2023, for further hearing.

Sukesh recently sent a letter to the actress expressing his desire to propose to her for life. In the letter, he also mentioned how he missed spending the holiday season with her. Earlier too, the conman sent many letters while addressing her as his angel, butterfly and honey bee.

For the unversed, Jacqueliene has been accused of enjoying gifts and luxuries from Sukesh which he bought through embezzled money. Sukesh is the main accused in a Rs 200 crore extortion case. Meanwhile, the actress has earlier moved the Delhi High Court seeking the quashing of ECIR (FIR) and supplementary chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate in the said extortion case.

Meanwhile, workwise, Jacquliene was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus alongside Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde. She was also seen in a special song Deewane in Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s Selfiee. Up next, the actress will be seen in Fateh co-starring Sonu Sood.
