It's official! Ranveer Singh collaborates with Aditya Dhar; shares THIS picture

It was recently reported that Ranveer Singh would begin shooting for his first film with director Aditya Dhar on July 25 in Thailand. Now, the actor has shared a picture with the cast of the untitled film. Ranveer also penned a note for his fans and said that the cinematic experience he is bringing with his new film is something unique.

On Instagram, Ranveer shared a collage of pictures featuring the cast of the untitled film. The monochrome pictures feature actors Sanjay Dutt, Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and director Aditya Dhar.

In the caption, Ranveer wrote a note for all his fans who have been patient with him and have showered him with love. He wrote, “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamouring for a turn like this. I love you all, and I promise you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before.

He concluded by saying, “With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motion picture adventure with spirited energy and pure intent. This time, it’s personal.”

This film is the first on-screen collaboration between Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh. It was earlier reported that shooting for the film had begun on July 25. The movie is about the Indian Intelligence Services and the first shoot schedule is taking place in Thailand. Sanjay Dutt plays the antagonist in the film, which is reported to have been inspired by real-life events recorded at the R&AW.

A source close to the makers revealed, “It’s a film set in the golden era of Indian Intelligence Agencies, coinciding with the rise of R&AW. The team unites for the international leg, followed by schedules in India and UAE.”

“Ranveer is excited to venture into the new world of agents with Aditya Dhar’s next. While Sanjay Dutt plays a negative character in the film, Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal will be seen as a part of the Indian System,” the source added.

The source concluded by saying that Ranveer is pumped up to return to a film set with Aditya's film. The film will be shot over 6 months and will be released in theatres in the second half of 2025.
