Kangana Ranaut had earlier today taken to her social media handle to share a stunning picture of herself wearing a traditional Lehenga along with a traditional head accessory. However, a media portal while sharing the news of the same called her headpiece a ‘crown.’ The actress schooled them about the right meaning of the accessory and criticized them for not having enough knowledge about the same.
Talking about the same, in a now-deleted tweet, the news portal had called Kangana Ranaut to wear a crown with the beautiful Lehenga. The Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress quoted the tweet and lashed out at them. Kangana wrote, “It’s not a crown it’s a traditional Indian jewel… very popular in Punjab and Himachal… in Punjab it’s known as Saggi phool and Himachal it’s a variation of chakk… even Indians don’t know about their heritage especially these embarrassing jurnos.” Take a look at the tweet.
Some netizens praised the Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi actress for the same. A fan wrote, “Queen Kangana destroying ill-informed so-called journos... Hail queen.” Another netizen agreed with Kangana Ranaut and said, “So identify with this lady. Idiots are insufferable! They all flaunt their Frida Kahlo bags/t-shirts/posters but are completely clueless about someone like Amrita Pritam! Even Ms. Kahlo would cringe at their inauthenticity.” Referring to Kangana being ousted from her brand endorsements, one of her fans stated, “Who says #KanganaRanaut doesn't have a brand endorsement? She has the biggest brand to endorse — Brand INDIA. And no accomplishment can ever match the satisfying feeling of contributing to the welfare of the motherland.”
