Ishaan Khatter admits he is dating someone not as 'established' as him, says 'I'm very aware of how it affects...'

Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter recently marked his Hollywood debut with the web series The Perfect Couple. The actor opened up about his personal life in a recent interview, and admitted that he is dating someone who is not as 'established' as he is and revealed that he prefers to keep his personal life protected.

Ishaan Khatter confirms being in a relationship

During an interview with The Dirty Magazine, the actor was asked for details about his romantic relationship. The Perfect Couple actor admitted to having a woman in his life but preferred to guard the relationship by not disclosing her name.

Speaking about his past relationships and dating a woman who is not as 'established' as he is, the actor said, "I've been in a relationship with someone who is not as established as me so I'm very aware of how it affects the women I’m with."

Talking about protecting his personal life, Ishaan said, “But you can't control where you're gonna be seen, where you're gonna be photographed, when it's gonna come out, how it's gonna come out, what people are gonna say… so I’m a bit protective.”

Ishaan added that he considers himself a good partner and has been working on his flaws from past relationships. The actor added that his biggest flaw is that he is overly emotional.

Ishaan Khatter on monogamy

In the same interview, Ishaan expressed his thoughts on monogamy and how he respects the sacredness of commitment. "I believe you can have one partner and be monogamous. I’ve had my fair share of experiences in my 20s, but now I feel the need to respect the sacredness of that commitment," said Ishaan.

The actor is often photographed spending time with Malaysian model, Chandni Bainz in Mumbai.

Ishaan marked his Hollywood debut with the web series The Perfect Couple, starring Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson and Dakota Fanning. The American mystery drama premiered on Netflix on September 5, 2024. The series is based on American author Elin Hilderbrand's novel of the same name and is directed by filmmaker Susanne Bier.
