Is Telugu sensation Sreeleela making her Bollywood debut? Here’s what we know

In a short span, young talent Sreeleela has won the hearts of Tollywood fans. The Telugu actress, who made her last appearance in Guntur Kaaram opposite Mahesh Babu, has recently been in talks to enter Bollywood. Yes, you read that right. According to a few reports, the Telugu sensation is rumored to star opposite Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, in the upcoming film Diler. The film is going to be directed by Kunal Deshmukh, who is said to be in advanced talks with the Telugu actress. If the rumors are true, Sreeleela will soon foray into the Hindi cinema world.

Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, the upcoming film will be headlined by Ibrahim Ali Khan, who is yet to make his acting debut. The film is said to be bankrolled by Maddock Productions. More details about the film are expected to be unveiled soon. For the unversed, Diler is already in production and will be Ibrahim Ali Khan’s second project after Sarzameen. The project’s shoot will resume in August 2024 after Sreeleela comes on board.

Sreeleela’s upcoming projects

On the work front, Sreeleela, who was last seen in the blockbuster film Guntur Kaaram, is said to have signed some of the most exciting projects in the lineup. However, the actress has taken an extended break from work following a busy 2023. She will soon join the sets of Ravi Teja’s 75th film, directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu. Produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film is scheduled for a Sankranthi 2025 release. This project marks the second collaboration between Sreeleela and Ravi Teja, following their success with Dhamaka. The actress is also rumored to be part of Ajith and Adhik Ravichandran’s upcoming gangster action film Good Bad Ugly.
