Is Sidharth Malhotra all set to star in Karan Johar action flick? Here’s what we know

Bollywood always has its share of a hit jodi. Be it that of an actor and an actress or writer and actor or even for that matter, a director and an actor. Speaking about forming a hit pair between a director and an actor, the two names which have been the talking point of everyone is that of the ace filmmaker Karan Johar and one of his ‘students’ Sidharth Malhotra! Even though they have been a part of a bunch of Hindi films as a director-actor or a producer-actor, they have mostly delivered!

As per a source-based news report in Bollywood Hungama, it has been reported that, the aforementioned hit pair of Karan Johar and Sidharth Malhotra are now in advanced talks for an action thriller. The said report stated that, after Karan Johar narrated the script to Sidharth Malhotra, the latter loved the script and has now shown interest in the same. The report added that Sidharth Malhotra is now in advanced talks with Karan Johar for the film.

Looking back, a few months ago, after the release of the Ranveer Singh and Ali Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, filmmaker Karan Johar had said that his next film would be an action one. And the aforementioned film seems to be a step in that direction. And the aforementioned report also added that, the film will be a quintessential one that has the traditional hero versus villain story.

As for Karan Johar, he can be seen continuing his winning streak at the box office. While he is not directing any film, he is making news as a producer. His latest film as a producer was the Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk starrer Bad Newz, which is making waves at the box office. The hit track ‘Tauba Tauba’ from the film has already become a national and international craze all across the media as well as social media.
