Is Shahid Kapoor all set to join hands with Vishal Bhardwaj and Sajid Nadiadwala for an action thriller?

Ever since the time Shahid Kapoor entered the showbiz industry, there has been absolutely no looking back. Time and again, he has not only re-invented himself, but also the kind of films that he is a part of. Talking about his films, one of his career-defining films happens to be the extremely appreciated Kaminey, which had the prolific filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj as the director.

And for all those, who were eagerly waiting for the two to come together again, well… it seems that your prayers have just got answered. As per a source-based report in Pinkvilla, it has been said that producer Sajid Nadiadwala is now all set to bring back the magical combo of Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj. This time round, it is going to be an out and out for an action-packed thriller, as per the said report.

The article added that, this will be the first ever film by Vishal Bhardwaj which will have out and out hardcore action as its premise, that is expected to be mounted on a very large canvas. It's also being reported that the makers were looking to create as many as six huge action set pieces for the film, which, till now, remains untitled.

The same report added that Shahid Kapoor, who has immense respect for Vishal Bhardwaj and Sajid Nadiadwala was super happy the very moment he heard the narration of the aforementioned film. No wonder then, Shahid Kapoor reportedly took no time in giving his consent to come on board as the leading man of the film.

As for Shahid Kapoor, besides the aforementioned film, he is also a part of the most awaited film Deva. The said film will see the svelte Pooja Hegde as the co-star of Shahid Kapoor. The film Devaa is being directed by the much-acclaimed Rosshan Andrrews. As per the reports available, the film is all set to be released in theatres on February 14, 2025.
