There won’t be anyone reading this who has not seen the iconic show named Shaktimaan or at least have seen it. If one has to look back a couple of days ago, one will realise that there has been immense buzz around the show and also the leading man behind the costume of Shaktimaan – Mukesh Khanna.

One will know and remember that, since quite some time now, there have been talks about the serial being made into a full-fledged feature film. And guess what! As per the latest buzz, according to a news report in Hindustan Times, it's none other than the ‘superstar of the season’ Kartik Aaryan, who will be now seen as the iconic character of Shaktimaan on the silver screen!

Ever since the news about Kartik Aaryan being the new Shaktimaan has become viral (although there is no official confirmation regarding the same), the internet has got divided and how!

In no time, there was a Reddit thread which had got created fir this news. One user posted, ‘This would be career suicide for Kartik Aryan. Unless they reinvent the character. If they plan to stick to the old pattern it won't work. Not to mention plenty of people are put off by Shaktiman at this moment, not to mention nowadays people are quick to catch on Inspired shots and stolen storylines which I have no doubt are bound to happen’.

Another user posted, ‘WHAT! Arre let the poor man breathe. Please do not load him with work and expectations. He had just come out of Chandu Champion and he dived straight into Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which of course, is a big hit by now. History has it that sky-high expectations have always killed the actor inside the actor. If this man succumbs to the pressure, then, it will be very difficult for him to raise again, as he will be worn out totally. Give him space and he will score an ace’!
