The pre-wedding ceremonies of Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya have begun with full glory. The bride-to-be has been sharing pictures on social media, giving fans a glimpse of her pre-wedding festivities. After sharing pictures from her haldi ceremony, the actress took to social media on December 2 and shared pictures of her Pelli Kuthuru ceremony for which she opted for a bright red traditional ensemble.

Taking to Instagram, the gorgeous bride-to-be Sobhita shared pictures from her Pelli Kuthuru ceremony. In the pictures, the actress is seen donning a traditional vermilion-coloured saree, paired with a matching blouse and statement gold jewellery. Sobhita completed her look with smokey eye makeup, glossy nude lips, and a sleek hairdo.
The first image features Sobhita posing with her sister and her husband while the next picture is a solo snapshot of herself. The next picture showcases the ladies of her family applying haldi to Sobhita’s feet while another picture features a woman applying tika on her forehead. The following images feature Sobhita receiving red bangles and blessings from the elders in the family.
Sobhita captioned the post, “Pelli Kuthuru.” Pelli Kuthuru is a Telugu word meaning bride, marking an auspicious occasion in the pre-wedding ritual where haldi is applied to the bride and groom. The ceremony is reported to symbolize the purification of the bride and groom as they prepare for marriage.
Earlier, Sobhita had shared pictures from her haldi ceremony where she was surrounded by her loved ones. For the ceremony, Sobhita sat inside a vessel while her family members poured water and flowers on her.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will tie the knot at his family-owned Annapurna Studios on December 4. The Akkineni and Daggubati families along with Sobhita’s family will be in attendance. The couple decided to tie the knot after dating each other for quite some time.
Chaitanya was earlier married to South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
