Vinay Rai, who is playing a key role in Tovino Thomas' upcoming action thriller, has wrapped up his portions.

It's a wrap for actor Vinay Rai’s portions in Tovino Thomas’ upcoming film Identity. The makers of the film took to their social media handles to share a video of the actor bidding goodbye to the crew members on set. Director Akhil Paul, who shared the video, thanked Vinay for being a part of Identity and ‘delivering the best’ for his character Allen Jacob. In his Instagram post, the director also mentioned the past 52 days of ‘extremely memorable shoot’ and how fun it was to work with the Tamil actor.
“Marching on to the last few days of shoot and it’s a wrap for @vinayrai79 sir’s portion in IDENTITY..!! Sir, beginning from 23 September 2022 when you heard this script, your energy became a big part of this film. You made these past 52 days of your shoot extremely memorable. You were insanely fun to work with, and we can never thank you enough for delivering your very best for Allen Jacob and for IDENTITY! Much love to you sir, from Team IDENTITY, and we shall surely continue together on this journey..! Like the last dialogue you shot for this movie, ‘This isn’t over!’” The last line of the caption also hints that Vinay Rai might be part of the film’s sequel.

Directed and co-written by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, who previously helmed the Tovino-starrer Forensic in 2020, the upcoming film is said to be a two-part action thriller starring Tovino Thomas, South Indian diva Trisha, and Vinay Rai. The film also stars Bollywood actress Mandira Bedi, Shammy Thilakan, Aju Varghese, Arjun Radhakrishnan, and Archana Kavi. The film is bankrolled by Century Films and Ragam Movies, with Akhil George and Chaman Chakko serving as the cinematographer and editor, respectively.
Earlier, director Akhil Paul revealed that the movie is not a spy thriller nor does it have any connection with their previous investigative thriller Forensic.
The thriller is expected to hit theaters later this year and will be dubbed in five languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
