‘I was really emotional’: Kiara Advani reveals how she felt on seeing husband Sidharth Malhotra on their wedding day

It filled our hearts with love and joy when Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani shared a short glimpse of their wedding on social media just a few days after announcing that they have tied the knot. Watching Kiara the blushing bride dance down the aisle on their very own version of Ranjha, right into her groom Sidharth’s arms was like witnessing a modern day fairytale. The wedding teaser also featured their varmala ceremony, which Sidharth and Kiara celebrated with a romantic kiss. It was like a happy ending for their Shershaah characters Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema in a parallel universe.

Much to the delight of fans, Kiara has now revealed how overwhelmed she was on the day of her wedding, when she saw her husband-to-be. In a chat with iDiva, the actress shared, “I was really emotional, naturally, before the doors opened. The doors had opened and I saw my husband there and I was just very excited, I was just like ‘Oh my God, I'm getting married’. I really thought I would be like crying walking and I thought I would get very emo seeing my parents and stuff but I think there was just so much happiness and positivity around me that it just felt like a dream. I was just very happy and that's why I think I was like, I was just doing my own Jazz walking and I don't know what I did.”

Well, Kiara’s entry on her wedding day was magical and we are sure many young brides are going to take inspiration from her on their big day in the future. Currently Kiara and Sidharth are busy enjoying marital bliss. Just yesterday the happy couple celebrated their first Holi as Mr and Mrs Malhotra. It was extremely special because they also completed a month of happy marriage. On the work front, Sidharth will next be seen in action thriller Yodha. He will also make his digital debut soon with Rohit Shetty’s web series Indian Police Force. Kiara, on the other hand, will reunite with her Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 co-star Kartik Aaryan in Satyaprem Ki Katha.
