How does one cope with life when there is not much time left and that the person could soon die? Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar answers this question in his upcoming film I Want To Talk where his central character, played by Abhishek Bachchan, ventures on a journey where he wants to apologise to people whom he has hurt in his life while dealing with his health condition. In the process, he learns how to love, and forgive.

I Want To Talk trailer unveiled

The makers of I Want To Talk shared the trailer of the film on social media. The trailer begins with a glimpse of Arjun (played by Abhishek) with a cast on his neck, unable to speak properly. Later, a voiceover of Abishek hints at the possible plotline of the film that says, “Har story ka koi purpose, koi meaning hota hai. Purpose ab unko sorry bolna hai jinko maine hurt kiya hai or jaha tak meaning ki baat hai, I don’t know (Every story has a purpose, and meaning to it. Now the purpose is to say sorry to those I have hurt).”

Later in the trailer, it is revealed that Arjun is suffering from a throat disease for which he will undergo surgery. Further clips feature Abhishek’s character interacting with the people around him while dealing with his health problems.

In one scene, he is seen speaking to his daughter, Riya, asking if she has a boyfriend which infuriates her. In another, he is seen telling his doctor that during the time of his death, he will not go to the emergency room, but rather would directly approach him.

The makers captioned the post, “Meet Arjun! Who endures extraordinary challenges in his quest for an ordinary life. #IWantToTalk In Cinemas 22nd November.”
