'I walked out': Shah Rukh Khan accused of allegedly disrespecting Ram Charan by latter's makeup artist at Ambani event

One of the highlights of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar was Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan doing the hook-step of ‘Naacho Naacho’ with Ram Charan. However, now Ram’s makeup artist, Zeba Hassan, who was also present at the occasion, has accused Shah Rukh of allegedly disrespecting the RRR actor while calling him on the stage. The context was the superstar calling Ram ‘Idli Vada.’ She also said that she walked out of the event because of this incident.

Talking about the same, Zeba took to her Instagram stories to share the video which shows SRK saying something in the South Indian language while calling Ram on stage followed by ‘Idli Vada.’ She captioned the video stating, “Bhend idly vada Ram charan kahan hai tu." ??? I walked out after this. So disrespectful towards a star like @alwaysramcharan." Take a look at her post.

Furthermore, Hassan also stated on her further Instagram stories how talented makeup artists from the South Indian belt lose out on many opportunities because people tend to hire makeup artists from Mumbai more. She also highlighted that South Indian makeup artists are also paid less as compared to the artists from the North. She went on to say that especially women makeup artists from Hyderabad struggle a lot to find suitable jobs in Bollywood. Her statement read, "It's funny how everyone wants to pay us "lesser" because we're from south India where as they're okay to pay triple the amount for the same thing to an artist if that artist is Delhi or Mumbai based.” Take a look at her posts.

Zeba’s post received a polarizing response from the netizens. Some netizens came to her support and slammed Shah Rukh. However, some fans of the megastar called out Hassan’s rant unnecessary and stressed the good friendship between SRK and Ram.
