'I just broke down' : Alia Bhatt recalled watching daughter Raha's picture being almost public on Koffee With Karan 8

Alia Bhatt graced the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8 along with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The ladies made the episode an entertaining watch wherein there were also some heartfelt revelations. In the episode, Alia recalled that one time when she saw her toddler daughter Raha’s face being almost revealed on social media.

The Student Of The Year actress revealed that the incident took place when she was shooting for the song ‘Tum Kya Mile’ from Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in Kashmir. Alia told Karan Johar, “It takes really long for your body to bounce back. I was not sleeping at night, I was feeding, and rushing in between shoots. So, I remember calling Ranbir and saying ‘Listen, I’m finding it very difficult’. So, he pushed his work and said, ‘Do not worry. I’m going to come pick her up. I’m going to take her. I’ve pushed my work. She’ll be with me.” While this made her relax, Alia was suffering from separation guilt having been away from her newborn during the time.

However, all hell broke loose when the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actress saw that a side of Raha’s face had been revealed on social media. Alia added, “So, that guilt carried on and one and a half days later when I traveled back, I saw a photo where the side of her face was visible and I just broke down.” The actress furthermore said that she and Ranbir Kapoor are indeed proud of their daughter but they feel that she does not deserve to be a content for Instagram right now.

Apart from this, Alia was also all praise for her husband as the most doting father. She also said how the Animal actor has become a burp specialist for Raha. The actress also celebrated her daughter’s first birthday on November 6, 2023.
