‘Hope we’ve made you smile’: Sara Ali Khan celebrates Sushant Singh Rajput’s birthday at an NGO; watch

One of the most talented and humble actors of our country, that the industry lost way too early, Sushant Singh Rajput would have celebrated his 37th birthday yesterday if he was still here amongst us. But while he looks down upon us from heaven, millions of his fans and followers remembered the happy soul on social media. Even his actress girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty took to her official Instagram handle to share unseen pictures with the late superstar. These adorable snaps, which featured Sushant and his charming smile, gave us a glimpse into their happier days together.

Sushant’s Kedarnath co-star and rumoured ex girlfriend Sara Ali Khan also celebrated his birthday yesterday. Much to our delight, the star kid shared a sneak peek of the same on social media. Sara cut a cake and even sang ‘Happy Birthday Sushant’ as she celebrated the late actor at an NGO with children. Along with a video of the same, she penned a heart-touching note, which read: “Happiest Birthday Sushant ❤️🎂I know what making other people smile meant to you. And while you’re watching over all of us, up there next to the rising new moon, I hope we’ve made you smile today too. Shine on 💫 🌌🪐🌙 Jai Bholenath 🙏🏻.”

Sushant made a place in our hearts with his acting skills, memorable performances and on-screen aura. Well, he also shared a close relationship with the people he worked with, who continue to remember him fondly. But the reason why he is especially important to Sara is the fact that he was her very first co-star when she began her journey as an actor in the Hindi film industry. They shared a special friendship and were quite important in each other’s lives. We are sure Sushant must be smiling down at us, as he lives on in our hearts and we celebrate him.
