Himesh Reshammiya's father Vipin Reshammiya passes away

Vipin Reshammiya, the father of Himesh Reshammiya, who happens to be one of the most sought-after singers and composers in Bollywood today, is no more. The 87-year-old Vipin Reshammiya took his last breath around 8.30 pm yesterday (September 18) as per the reports.

It’s also being said that, after Vipin Reshammiya, who was having old age-related health issues, had complained of having difficulties with breathing, he was immediately rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, where he took his last breath. The rituals of the final rites will be taking place today (September 19) in Juhu, Mumbai. Reports also stated that, Himesh Reshammiya and his family will be soon bringing his mortal remains back home.

That Himesh Reshammiya was extremely close to his father will just be sounding like an understatement, as his father really meant the world to him. The late Vipin Reshammiya had even produced two films in the form of The Xpose (which was released in the year 2014) and Teraa Surroor (which was released in the year 2016).

Himesh Reshammiya was the leading man in both the aforementioned films. Besides that, Vipin Reshammiya, also has to his credit of having composed music for a film called Insaaf Ka Suraj, as per a report in Free Press Journal.

A few years ago, Himesh Reshammiya had posted a clip of the singing reality show Indian idol of which he was one of the judges. He had captioned the said post as, ‘My dad composer Vipin Reshammiya had composed a beautiful track quite a few years back sung by the legendary Lataji and Kishore kumar ji’.

He added, ‘Unfortunately it couldn’t be released then,I feel that it’s one of the finest classic melodies of all time which should come out in the market for all music lovers and I will be bringing the song out in the market soon , my dad had composed it with a lot of love’.

He concluded the said post stating, ‘Iam happy that this song will be coming out soon for all of you , give it all your love when it comes out and you hear it ,we shot for the Kishore Kumar 100 songs special this week and the very talented singers of #indianidol sang beautifully like always lots of love’.
