‘Highly premature to say there is no evidence against Aryan Khan in drug case’, clarifies Anti-Drugs Agency
Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested in a drug conspiracy last year.
Back in October last year, Shah Rukh Khan ’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on charges of alleged possession, consumption and sale/purchase of drugs after they raided a cruise rave party. It was reported that the star kid was apparently carrying drugs in his lens boxes. Later that month, he got bail by the High Court. Well, since morning reports have been doing the rounds suggesting that no evidence was found which proved Aryan was part of a larger drugs conspiracy or an international drugs trafficking syndicate.
It was reported that the Special Investigation Team ’s key findings were that Aryan was never in possession of drugs, so there was no need to take his phone and check chats. Buzz also suggested that there were several irregularities in the raid which was conducted on the yacht in October. Well, the Special Investigation Team chief and Narcotics Control Bureau DDG Sanjay Singh has now shared a clarification. In a report shared by ANI, he was quoted saying: “Highly premature to say that there's no evidence against Aryan Khan. Probe still in progress; recorded multiple statements. Have not reached any conclusion yet.”
Last year after Aryan was arrested, his superstar father cancelled many of his work commitments and only resumed work when things were slightly better. Earlier today, Shah Rukh officially announced the release date of his comeback film Pathaan , along with co-stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the action entertainer will arrive in theatres on 25thJanuary, 2023.
