Here’s when Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor will begin filming Dinesh Vijan's robot rom-com

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are teaming up for producer Dinesh Vijan ’s unique untitled romantic comedy. The upcoming film will see Shahid as the robotic expert while Kriti will essay the role of a robot. In the latest development, the makers have now decided on the shooting schedule. The team will begin filming the quirky rom-com in November.

Earlier there were speculations that makers have shelved the movie over budget. It was said that Shahid had hiked his fee by a large sum and asked for a high remuneration for the project. But recently it is being confirmed that the film will take off in November with the start-to-finish schedule in Mumbai and UK as per Pinkvilla reports. Director Amit Joshi will be the captain of the ship. The pre-production work has already commenced and in October workshops will start for Shahid and Kriti. As the actors are collaborating for the time, the excitement around the movie is high and all energies at Dinesh’s production Maddock Films are aligned to the project.

Dinesh has been investing in unique content whether it be Stree, Hindi Medium, and others. And the upcoming robot-based film will be another of its kind. And for Kriti, it would be her seventh collaboration with the producer after Raabta, Luka Chuppi, Arjun Patiala, MiMi, Hum Do Hamare Do, and the upcoming film, Bhediya with Varun Dhawan. While for Shahid it is his first collaboration with him. Besides this, Dinesh is producing John Abraham’s Tehran and Akshay Kumar’s untitled airforce-based action drama.

Meanwhile, Kriti also has other interesting projects besides the mentioned film. She has Adipurush with Prabhas, Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan, and Ganapath with Tiger Shroff. On the other hand, Shahid is gearing up for the release of his two films— Ali Abbas Zafar's action thriller and Raj & DK's Farzi for Amazon.
