This year seems to be one of the golden years for Shahid Kapoor, both on a personal level as well as on a professional level. On the professional level, his last released film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (which had the stunning Kriti Sanon, as his co-star) did extremely encouraging business at the box office. On a personal level, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput have now become proud owners of an ultra-luxurious flat costing a whopping amount!
As per the registration documents accessed by IndexTap.com, it has been said that, the said property’s transaction was worth Rs. 58.66 crore. As far as the registration date of the said property, it has been reported as May 24, 2024.
As per a source-based report in Hindustan Times, it has been reported that the said apartment had been purchased at a price of around Rs. 65,000 per sqft. It also added that the same property has now been sold at a price of over Rs. 1 lakh per sq ft. This transaction only means that, there has been an appreciation of over fifty per cent and that too, within a period of one year.
And, as far as the stamp duty is concerned, it has been said that, the Kapoors have been reported to have paid a stamp duty of Rs. 1.75 crore for the said transaction.
On the professional level, Shahid Kapoor has his plates full! While his last released film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (with Kriti Sanon) did encouraging business, he has many interesting films in his kitty. The films in which he will be seen are Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues, Deva and the most awaited Farzi 2.
As for Deva, Shahid Kapoor will be seen paired opposite Pooja Hegde. He had posted the film’s release date on social media a few weeks ago. He wrote, “DEVA in theatres on Dussehra 11th October 2024’. While the film is being directed by Rosshan Andrrews, it is produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films.
