Vikrant Massey to join forces with Raees director Rahul Dholakia for a psychological thriller? Here’s what we know

In Bollywood, there is a famous adage which states ‘Fame and fortune changes every Friday’. This was the case with the Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey. All it took was one Friday when his film 12th fail had got released. In no time, the film went onto become one of the blockbusters of the silver
screen. Needless to say, post the runaway success of the film 12thFail, Vikrant Massey not just became an overnight superstar, but also one of the most preferred choices for many filmmakers.

One such filmmaker happens to be Rahul Dholakia, who is now all seemingly set to start his next film with Vikrant Massey as the leading man, as per a report in Peeping Moon. The report stated that Vikrant Massey is in final talks to sign the dotted lines of the filmmaker Rahul Dholakia's next film, which happens to be a psychological thriller.

When we tried to reach out to Rahul Dholakia (who had earlier directed the smash hit Shah Rukh Khan film Raees) to confirm the news, it yielded no results. As for the aforementioned film, it has been said that the film will be produced by Madhu Mantena under his banner Phantom Studios. As per the same report, it has also been stated that, as for Vikrant Massey, he has verbally agreed to do the film and that the contractual formalities are in the process.

Besides this film, Vikrant Massey (who had been a part of JioCinema’s project Black Out of late) is busy shooting for the prolific filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani's maiden web series. And the subject matter of the said web series happens to be cyber security, as per reports.

Besides this, Vikrant Massey will also be starring in the film titled Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. The USP of the film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is that it is being directed by renowned dialogue writer Niranjan Iyengar. With this film, Niranjan will be making his directorial debut in Bollywood.

As for Vikrant Massey, he will also be seen in the most awaited Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, which also stars Taapsee Pannu, Sunny Kaushal, and Jimmy Sheirgill. The film will be premiering on Netflix on August 9.
